My Anniversary BFP

It happened! We're thrilled, elated, overjoyed, all that jazz, of course.

The story: Sunday, 10/7 was our 5-year anniversary, and we left that day on a road trip around New England. We were staying at a B&B in Maine for 3 nights, and I secretly planned to test at 11DPO, the day we were leaving. But...I suck at waiting. On 10/8 at 9DPO, I took my temp in the morn while H was in the shower (wasn't temping after O was confirmed) and got a high temp - 98.62, a good .5-.7 higher than my normal 2WW temps. I tried not to overthink it.

We had lunch that day at a lobster shack by the ocean and had some wine. We went back to our room after with plans to freshen up, walk around town, and have dinner and drinks at a brew pub while watching Monday night football. This is where my curiosity got the best of me, and I sneakily snuck a wondfo into the bathroom. I hawked that thing for the first minute and saw nothing, so got sad, then got realistic and put it aside to check in another two mins. when I did, I saw a line. H had run to the car to grab something, so it was all I could do to hold myself together in those few seconds before he got back. He came into the room, poured himself a drink, and asked me to try it. I said no. He said please. I said I can't. And it dawned on him; we hugged, we cried...it was a wonderful anniversary gift and it made our trip that much more special.

Cycle/Month: 5

What we did: I tried to relax mydamnself this cycle. I only temped around O to confirm and we had fun with sex about EOD from CD8-CD20 rather than must-have-sex-now-because-I'm-Oing sex. We hit O-2, O, and O+1. Also, PNVs, OPKs, extra water and a cup of green tea/day leading up to O.

Symptoms: Not much to speak of. Mild cramping and a little dizziness since 8DPO. Boobs feel normal. I have been tired but also came down with a virus from hell yesterday that had me in bed all day. I don't expect pregnancy symptoms until about 5w.

EDD: June 22, 2013.

Gushy stuff: I've been on these TK/TN/TB for six years and I've never found a board quite as supportive as this one. It's been great, ladies, and I wish you all buttloads of luck on your journeys.
